MBES Giving Week 2023

Monday January 23rd – Saturday January 28th

Has your family always wanted to give back but didn't know where to start? Being
little in a big world can make it challenging to know where we fit in or how we can
affect change. By volunteering, our Buccaneers can see how actions that may
appear small, can make a big difference in the lives of others. We’ve lined up the
following volunteer opportunities for our 2nd annual MBES Giving Week.
We are so excited for you to be a part of it!

We would LOVE to see it! Snap some pix of you and your fam giving back and be sure to use
the hashtag #MBESGIVINGWEEK

MONDAY-January 23rd
“Thank you for being a Helper!”

Students and their families can choose to make handmade thank you cards to give to a
“community Helper” (Police Officer, Postal Worker, Garbage Person, etc.) thanking them for
their service.

TUESDAY-January 24th
Sandwich Making Day with The Sandwich Project

Host a sandwich making get together at your house with neighbors, your child’s sports team/
civic group or friends. All you need is a small group and sandwich making supplies. Make
sandwiches on Tuesday (1/24/23) to be dropped off Wednesday (1/25/23) at a Sandwich project
drop-off location in either the East Hampton or Hampton Lakes neighborhoods.
