LEGISLATION & ADVOCACY

The deadline to register to vote in the March 24 Presidential Preference Primary is February 24. Check your voter registration or register to vote on the GA Secretary of State's website.

It's just about time for the 2020 Census! Households will begin receiving invitations to respond in mid-March.  This impacts federal funding for our community - roads and transportation, hospitals, schools and more. Government leaders also use Census data to align local, state and federal voting districts.
For the first time, households can respond online, phone or the traditional mail. The questionnaire should take less than 10 minutes.

Ready? . . .Set? . . . ADVOCATE!

On Monday, January 13, the Georgia General Assembly gaveled in for the first Legislative Day of the
2020 Legislative Session.  Hundreds of bills will be introduced - many of which will impact your children,
your schools, and your communities.
