August 21st – 27th 2017 Mt. Bethel Read-A-Thon 


As Mt. Bethel PTA’s fundraiser, 95% of Read-A-Thon proceeds help fund items such as classroom subscriptions, counseling programs, support for music, art and PE, Family Fun Night, Spring Thing, Cultural Celebrations and additional PTA sponsored events.


It's time to encourage your Mt. Bethel student to read, read, read and track his/her reading time. You are encouraged to support the PTA with a donation of $40 or more, but any donation amount is appreciated.

MBES 40th Birthday Party is Thursday, August 24th.Mark your calendars for a night full of birthday celebrations, family and fun!


Attendees can enjoy for free: laser tag, colored hair spray, video games in an air conditioned truck, face painting, balloons, padded sword fighting provided by Marietta Martial Arts, obstacle course provided by Peachtree Gymnastics, a fun DJ, and MUCH MORE! 


Food will be available for purchase by Jamba Juice, Pero's Pizza, KO Sno Balls and Chick-fil-A.

The first 300 guests will receive a free cupcake!

5th Grade Organizational Classes - Start on Monday, 8/14!

This Foundation funded class will be taught by Learning Specialist, Natalie Collins, M.Ed. and will take place on 8/14, 8/18, 8/21 and 8/23.(Exact date will be based on your child's teacher.) Ask your 5th grader to tell you all about it!



On the PTA Toolkit you can signup for a number of committees throughout the year. Sign up NOW and your committee head will be in contact with you closer to your event. 




We would love for you to help us capture great school year memories by sharing the photos you take in your kids' classrooms. You can share your photos with the yearbook team via this link:
As you take photos, make sure there are few kids in photos looking forward, and no single portraits please. Great locations for photos are outdoor recess, the media center, trained parent volunteer time, class parties, and field trips. Please keep class interruptions to a minimum and coordinate ideal picture taking times with the teacher. 
Take lots of pictures and take them early as our yearbook printing deadlines start in November!
